Professor Zetian Mi from the University of Michigan will present recent advancements in nanoscale and polarization engineering of (ultra) wide-bandgap III-nitride semiconductors, along with their emerging applications in next-generation microelectronics and photonics. These advancements are crucial steps toward addressing critical challenges we will face in the coming decades, including energy efficiency, clean energy, environmental sustainability, and quantum information.
