
The annual UW–Madison Day at the Capitol highlights the amazing faculty, students, alumni and athletics at UW–Madison. In addition to Wisconsin Alumni Association-hosted activities, several events sponsored by the UW–Madison Office of State Relations are held on this day, including the Graduate Research Showcase and Faculty Flash Talks.
Representatives from the Wisconsin Quantum Institute (WQI) participated in the 2026 event on April 29. CHIPS faculty Mark Eriksson and Jennifer Choy, along with WQI colleagues Kyle Joseph and Ona Ambrozaite, highlighted the importance of Quantum Technologies for Wisconsin. Postdoctoral Researcher Katerina Gratsea presented research on Achieving Utility-Scale Applications on Quantum Computers.
Researchers at UW-Madison are driving transformative advances in quantum science and technology that have the potential to strengthen innovation, economic growth, and competitiveness across multiple sectors throughout Wisconsin.
